One Month Old!

I can't believe how quickly time has begun to pass us by! I want to hang on to every day, every moment we have with James. He is growing right before our eyes! Literally every time I pick him up from his crib in the morning something has changed, more fuzz on his head, a new sound he makes or a new look on his face. He is still eating and sleeping very well and will now sleep in the night for 5 hours at a time. This is great for Mommy and Daddy's sanity. James has been busy this month meeting friends and family. He got to spend more time with his sissy Kendall. He's met his cousins Kate (4) and Leah (2), and Uncle Chris (he met Aunt Cori when he was born). He met our next door neighbor, legendary musician Deacon John, who immediately saw the size of his hands and proclaimed him a future guitar player! He also met his first friend, Jack Speed! He went to two Mardi Gras parades, Tucks on Saturday which he slept through and Thoth on Sunday morning where he caught a life size Tiger thrown to him by Mr. Joey! He was the envy of all around! Meme and Pop came to visit which allowed Mommy and Daddy to go out to the Orpheus Parade on Lundi Gras and to the Quarter and Marigny all day on Fat Tuesday. We had a ball but we missed the little guy often referencing our pictures saved on our phones. We just had his one month check up and he now weighs a whopping 10 pounds 3.5 ounces and is 22 inches long. We are so thankful he is healthy and growing!
